Hindu University of America (HUA) was established in 1989 and was authorized in 1993 to provide students with a unique academic environment to explore the knowledge systems based in Hindu thought involving critical inquiry, ethics, and self-reflection. Committed to fostering the culture and traditions of Hindu Dharma in an atmosphere of academic excellence and freedom, HUA prepares students for service, leadership, and global engagement.
AGF Board member, Shri Abhinav Dwivedi was one of the 4 founding members of the university’s inception in Orlando. In 2001, the University acquired a 9-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, thanks to the generosity of Shri Braham Ratan Agarwal, who became the university’s principal benefactor for the foreseeable future.
